Sunday Worship Service

We welcome you to come and praise God with our church family, as we meet every Sunday morning to offer hymns, prayer and ourselves to God the Father, Jesus Christ His Risen Son and the Holy Spirit. Communion is celebrated during the worship service on the first Sunday of each month. We meet every Sunday at 10:30am during the regular school year (September through May) and at 9:30am during the summer months. We have a handicapped accessible sanctuary.

Sunday School

We offer Sunday School during the school year (September through May) for ages 2 through adult. Nursery care is available during this time.

Adult Classes:

Parlor Class This class is a verse-by-verse study of the New Testament, with study notes provided, led by Keith Myers in the Morris Parlor, 9:30-10:15am.

THE SHACK - Where Tragedy Confronts Eternity - an interactive discussion group of a New York Times #1 Bestseller, led by Rev. Stan Johnson, October 5, 19 and November 2 at 7:30pm in the Morris Parlor.

Summer Sermon Series - Fruit of the Spirit - Sunday mornings at 10:30am in the Sanctuary

Inquirers' Class - A comfortable group to answer questions about the Christian faith, the Presbyterian Denomination, and First Presbyterian Church. Led by Rev. Stan Johnson with Duncan and Sue Parker. Held from 12:15-2:30pm in the Morris Parlor; 4 sessions with a light lunch (child care available).

Communion

Communion is celebrated during the worship service on the first Sunday of each month. All those who claim Christ as their Savior are invited to share this special time of worship with us.

Men's Breakfast and Bible Study

Men's Fellowship and Bible study is held on the second Saturday of every month at 8:00 am. Come join us for breakfast and share our goal of a greater understanding of God's Word to us. Breakfast and Bible study with brothers in the faith.

A Class for Inquirers

For those of you who wish to join our Church family, or simply learn more about the Presbyterian Church, we would welcome you to our New Inquirers' classes. These classes are a friendly way to get to know more about the church and are held at various times throughout the year. Please call the Church office for further details. (617) 773-5575.

Nursery Care

We offer nursery care during Sunday Morning Worship Services (available during Sunday School when a parent is available to sit) We have a caring group of people who offer their time and experience towards working with the children.

Vacation Bible School

During one week every summer (usually in July) we offer Vacation Bible School for children of preschool age through 5th grade. Each day from 9:00am until noon we have activities, lessons, songs and games to teach children about God's love. Please call the Church office for further details: (617) 773-5575.

Youth Group Meetings

Once a week our youth groups "Presby Youth" meet for Middle School/Jr. High and High School aged kids. Middle/Jr. High on Sundays at 4:30pm, Sr. High at 6:30pm. Other events planned during the year include service trips, retreats and other great surprises!
